She has average to better than average density, character and fineness all in an appealing coloration that shows very well. We purchased Salsa as a guard female in May of 2012. She quickly surprised us with a beautiful brown male - ZORRO!!! While Salsa takes her guard duty seriously, she is a very sweet and loving llama and is gentle with the alpaca crias - even when they are getting on her last nerve! She has even served as a milk surrogate for the alpacas.
